Wes specializes in working as a business advisor for closely held businesses; tax planning and compliance for professional corporations, auto dealerships, contractors, real estate developers, retailers, and manufacturers. In addition Wes occasionally testifies in court as an expert witness, and works in the area of estate tax planning and compliance.

Wes worked for two local CPA firms before starting his own firm with James M. Zaffrann in 1983. He joined WKMR in 1987, when the firm of Jones & Zaffrann, S.C. was acquired by Winter, Kloman, Moter & Repp, S.C. Wes has served as a contributing editor for the CPA Digest and has spoken at the Wisconsin Judicial College on the Tax Aspects of Divorce.
